I rate this scene: You’re Beautiful [episode 7]

23 05 2010

Since v mentioned this scene in the comments for my last post, I couldn’t stop reminiscing about it so here it is >>>

^^Hwang Tae Kyung being chased down by a wild boar xDD I LOLed to tears when I first saw it & it’s still as funny as ever. Tae Kyung‘s sudden flip from pure serene grace to frantic ahjumma-esque squealing mode along w/ his superhero galloping action had me in absolute hysterics (TUT);;;;;;

If you haven’t already, you need to watch it xDDDDDD >>>

For those of you who don’t know, the scene is a parody of my beloved So Ji Sub‘s COWON S9 CF, which I think you should check out & listen to his beautifully soothing voice right here (*´ー`*) >>>

Random FYI, I can’t wait for Ji Sub‘s upcoming series, Road Number One (June 23, baby; June 23.)

And another random FYI, just in case you’re curious, the background song for the CF is (of British X-Factor fame) Shayne Ward‘s Breathless.

Pig VS Hwang Tae Kyung = PURE WIN xD

I rate this scene: Last Friends [episode 8]

Well, we’re at the threshold of another Eita & Ueno Juri collaboration (yeah yeah that’s all that’s in my head atm… mmm, that & Tsuki no Koibita OOOOOOMG^^;;) so let’s trek back to their last series together, Last Friends.

At the end of episode 8: Ruka, planning to leave everyone & everything behind, leaves Takeru a letter, revealing her secret to him but it doesn’t change his heart one bit. He races (& I mean RACE. The boy is totally Olympic caliber fit :O) all the way to stop her.

(sorry, couldn’t find a link w/ English subs, but I shall provide a little of a translation situation >>>)

“Don’t go, Ruka! I’ve read your letter. I understand your feelings.
You may not be able to answer my feelings, but, even so, I, I still love you, Ruka.
Whether it’s as a person or as a woman, don’t ask me which, because I don’t even know myself…
but I, I just want to protect you.
No matter how you change, I want to stay by your side.

I don’t want to lose you.” Takeru.

Prisoner Of Love starts playing in the background at THE perfect moment.

Eita is like, askfdjaisej Y_Y And Juri-chan, not speaking a friggin’ word, is friggin’ faultless.

This is what I call, acting your ass off (can I label them my golden couple??)

Sunao ni Narenakute in a week’s time!

I rate this scene: My Girl [episode 13]

14 02 2010

Firstly, Happy Chinese New Year to all!! I hope that the Year Of The Tiger brings great prosperity to everyone. May all your dreams come true ☆彡

Secondly, Happy Valentine’s Day to all!! Whether you are single, coupled, married or somewhere in between, I wish you every happiness <3

Now let’s get down to business. I can’t think of a Chinese New Year scene from any series so since it’s also all about Saint Valentine today, I figured we can totally concentrate on kissing!! This one from the end of episode13 of My Girl (the 2005 Korean series obviously & not the jdorama starring my darling Aiba-kun^^) is probably my favourite kiss scene ever in Asian drama land.

That’s right, Seol Gong Chan & Joo Yoo Rin on the chilly streets of Seoul w/ all the cutesy teasing. The “saranghae” he sneaks in between seals the deal for me. Nothing overdone. Utter perfection. I think I remember ga-ga-gaaaaaaaasping.

I rate this scene: Long Vacation [episode 10]

17 01 2010

[ “I’m not your brother… I’m a man, you’re a woman…” ]

Gaaaaaahhh… far out I love Long Vacation (*⌒ー⌒*)

This scene was acted perfectly. More than anything, something about the way Kimura spoke those words in the caption above really, really got me. He is faultless *fangirl gush* This moment convinced me that Sena was at long last facing his full-blooded desire to want to be Minami‘s only man… but he still manages to express it exactly in the way you imagine Sena would.

Anyways, now go & watch the scene!!! >>>

Hello. I’ve decided to create an opportunity for myself to drool in front of everyone over the scenes from drama series & movies (probably more of the first xD) that I am illustriously fangirl head-over-heels for.

First up, I would like to share what I refer to as “the crossing scene,” from midway through ep10 of I’m Sorry I Love You.

My favourite scene ever from my favourite series ever. It’s simply too perfect for words. Watch it here:
